No speakers or headphones are plugged in windows 8

Yesterday I try to install windows 8 Professional in my personal computer, and everything works fine it's install properly and working properly, because I already  install all the things I need to install for it to work good on my computer, after the installation my brother ask me if he can play games on my computer, so I told him go try to play and tell me if you find something is wrong because I install a new operating system.

After a while a go my brother told me that the speaker is not working. so I troubleshoot it I checked if the connector is properly connected, the Sound Card drivers if properly installed and everything related to speakers. but i found that everything is good so what's wrong ? until I see on my system tray that the speaker icon is have a red "X" means that  "No speakers or headphones are plugged in" but it's already plugged in. so like every time that I can't solved the problem I always used to ask my best friend from world wide web and that is Google I searched "No speakers or headphones are plugged in windows 8"

And after an half hour of searching on Google I got No Working solutions to fixed it up! so again I try to think and think and think again until I found my own solutions for this problem, "No speakers or headphones are plugged in windows 8 " So let me share it to you.

First Download the latest version of Drivers Pack Solutions Click here to download

After you downloaded the file run it and click install, it's going to install all the possible updated drivers for your computer devices like, Sound card, Video card LAN card and much more.

Then after the installation you will ask to restart your computer to finish the installation so you must restart it and after the restart.

Go and search for your favorite song and test your speaker and I'm sure that it's now 100% working :-)

Please do share :-)

  1. I also had an experience like this when I was formatting my computers and I spent many hours looking for solution, I even downloaded different driver installers which did not worked at all. What I did is I look at my MoBo's brand and try to search online to look for its driver and that worked. I think there are some drivers that windows can't include when updating the OS so it is good to install them manually specially for audio drivers.
